The future of healthcare, and how successive Governments have betrayed the NHS, will come under the spotlight during a public meeting to be held in Kidderminster next week.
UKIP West Midlands MEP James Carver and UKIP's national spokesman on Health Louise Bours MEP will be speaking at the event which will be held at Kidderminster Harriers Football Club on Friday, January 16. UKIP Parliamentary Candidate Michael Wrench will also be in attendance.
The public meeting has been organised by Wyre Forest UKIP and will commence at the Aggborough Stadium, in Hoo Road, Kidderminister, DY10 1NB, at 7.30pm.
James Carver MEP, UKIP's Parliamentary Candidate for Stourbridge, said: “I urge people to come along to this event and hear, first-hand how the NHS is in safe hands with UKIP contrary to Labour Party lies.
“We would ensure the NHS is free at the point of delivery and would put a stop to the further use of Private Finance Initiatives (PFIs) in the National Service. Labour's push for PFIs, during their last term in Government, was simply backdoor privatisation.”
Admission to the public meeting is just £6, payable on the door, which includes food.
