It’s hard to believe that across the UK thirteen million people are living below the poverty line.

The Trussell Trust is working to stop UK hunger and poverty. Their network of over 400 foodbanks provides emergency food and support to people in crisis.

Last year the trust gave 1,109,309 three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis.

This Christmas James Carver and his team want to do all they can to help and support the amazing work being done by the trust, by taking a collection at their Kidderminster office.

Because we are coming up to Christmas the food bank is keen to have Christmas items; mince pies, Christmas puddings, chocolate stockings and any other Christmas treats would be especially welcome. Jars of coffee, tins of food and any other non-perishable items that you can think of will also be very gratefully received.

Anything that you can give will help to support people facing hunger this winter. Every gift, big or small, will transform lives.

The office is open every weekday from 9am-5pm.
