We must stand firm and not hand out concessions to the EU like confetti, implored West Midlands UKIP MEP James Carver.
He was speaking following Nigel Farage’s 'radio rant' last night when he accused the government of playing “a very weak and a very bad hand”.
Mr Carver said: “There are whisperings in the corridors of power that our fishing rights and territorial waters will be up for grabs and used as negotiating chips.
“We must nip that in the bud now – they are non-negotiable Prime Minister.
“Furthermore, the free movement of people must not be allowed to carry on into the 2020s.
“Nigel is quite right to expose these and other issues that threaten to damage negotiations.”
