Latest figures this Valentine’s Day showing record UK exports in flowers, wine and chocolate prove the world has a very special love affair for our quality products, says West Midlands UKIP MEP James Carver.
He said: “Chocolate exports are up nine per cent, wine 15 per cent and exports of flowers have doubled to £39 million, including a 124 per cent rise to non-EU markets since 2016.
“So at least today, Remoaners – have a heart and start talking Great Britain and its future up, because we are doing very well as the statistics continue to demonstrate.
“We are transforming into a global player on the global market and the demand for trusted “Made in Britain” products will continue to grow to satisfy consumers across the world.”
