Worcestershire MEP James Carver has praised the work of three go-ahead companies for earning the royal seal of approval in this year’s Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.
Mr Carver has congratulated Metrasens, TP3 Global and The First Class Pet Company who have all been named award winners following their success during the past year.
Malvern-based Metrasens, which won a Queen’s Award for International Trade last year, has this time been recognised for innovation after developing screening systems for use at large scales events and venues to detect weapons without disrupting the flow of people.
Bromsgrove-based The First Class Pet Company and TP3 Global, from Redditch, which manufacturers and supplies thermal protective solutions for temperature sensitive freight, received their Queen’s awards for success in international trade.
Mr Carver said: “These companies are shining examples of the high-tech and innovative business ideas which are growing in Worcestershire and taking world markets by storm.
“Many congratulations to them. They are fantastic role models for fledging entrepreneurial businesses and I wish them continued success, especially with the freedom to seek out even more global markets post Brexit.”
