Sad passing of a Brexiteer

Condolences to the family of lifelong passionate Eurosceptic Sir Teddy Taylor, whose death was announced yesterday.

He opposed the UK’s entry into the Common Market, was a stalwart of the Maastricht rebellions in the 1990s and was active in the Vote Leave campaign last year.

Such a shame he passed away before the completion of Brexit, but at least he knew it was coming. Rest in peace – your work is done.
