A £130 million investment planned by international aerospace and defence giant Meggitt plc in Coventry has been welcomed by West Midlands UKIP MEP James Carver.
The 440,000 sq ft facility at Ansty Park will provide a base for up to 1,000 employees, serving as a hub for next-generation aerospace innovation and research and development.
Mr Carver said: “It will combine a range of operations in aircraft braking systems, control systems, customer services and support and corporate shared services.
“This expansion is great news for Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands as an important step further onto the world stage – our aerospace industry is one of the most productive and the sky, literally, is the limit.”
