Following Brrexit the UK will be a stronger and more successful vibrant country, West Midlands MEP James Carver is to tell a meeting in Birmingham later this week.
Mr Carver, UKIP Euro-MP for the region, is taking part in a Meet Your MEPs event at the Library of Birmingham on Friday morning. (Nov 18)
The free event, organised as part of UK Parliament Week, includes a question and answer session as well as Mr Carver and Neena Gill, Labour MEP, explaining their points of view in the wake of Brexit.
“I’m looking forward to this and happy to answer questions about the future of the UK,” said Mr Carver, UKIP’s Commonwealth spokesman.
“We must get on with extracting ourselves from the strangling grasp of the EU and forge trade deals with whosoever we choose, including Commonwealth nations with whom we have a strong connection,” he added.
The event takes place at the library in Centenary Square, Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2ND between 11.30 - 1 pm
