The official opening of Jim’s Kidderminster office was held this week (November 2014). Among the guest speakers, MEP Paul Nuttall reflected on the electoral success of the activists and members in the area giving a positive view on the future, suggesting it is a ‘two horse race’ with the Conservatives in the Kidderminster / Wyre Forrest area. Jim Carver spoke of UKIP’s 2014 European 2014 electoral success and acknowledged the hard work of UKIP MEPs and local Councillors in the area, suggesting: ‘We’ve got them very scared’. Local Wyre Forrest District Councillor, Michael Wrench, looked back on the success of achieving six elected Councillors in the area and encouraged many activists to engage with the voting public. Michael spoke of his goal of taking control of the local Council in 2015, and along with MEP Bill Etheridge, spoke of winning many seats.
